Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TradeReady mobile application ("the app," "the service"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Description of Service

TradeReady is a job management and invoicing application for independent tradespeople and small businesses. Features include job and customer tracking, estimate calculation, invoice creation, payment link generation, and AI-assisted communication tools.

2. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@gettradereadyapp.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TradeReady only for lawful business purposes. You may not:

• Use the app to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) to your customers.
• Enter false or fraudulent invoice or customer information.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

4. Payment Processing

Payment links generated by TradeReady are processed through Stripe. TradeReady does not process payments, hold funds, or act as a payment intermediary. All payment transactions are between you and your customer, governed by Stripe's Terms of Service. TradeReady is not responsible for failed payments, chargebacks, or payment disputes.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

TradeReady offers an optional auto-renewable subscription ("TradeReady Pro") that unlocks the app's premium features. The subscription is sold as an in-app purchase through your Apple App Store account, and billing is handled by Apple — TradeReady never sees or stores your payment card details.

• Plans and price. TradeReady Pro is offered on a monthly plan and an annual plan. The current price of each plan, and the length of any introductory free trial, are shown on the subscription screen inside the app and again on Apple's purchase-confirmation screen before you buy. Prices may vary by region and are charged in your local currency.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it begins when you start the subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and your Apple ID is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage your subscription or turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings (on your device: Settings → your name → Subscriptions), or from the Settings screen inside TradeReady. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end your current paid period, and you keep access until that period expires.
• Refunds. All subscription purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. TradeReady cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases; refund requests must be directed to Apple.
• Price changes. If we change the subscription price, the change will not affect your current billing period. Apple will notify you and, where its rules require, ask for your consent before a renewal at the new price.

6. AI-Generated Content

TradeReady offers AI-assisted tools to help draft estimate and invoice outreach messages. AI output is a suggestion only — it may contain errors, omissions, or content that is not appropriate for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before sending it to customers.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of the business data (customers, jobs, invoices, expenses) you create in the app. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of that data and for obtaining any consents required by law before storing your customers' personal information in TradeReady. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Estimate Approvals and Electronic Signatures

TradeReady lets you send a customer a link to review and approve or decline an estimate. When your customer approves an estimate through that link, their typed name is captured as an electronic signature, together with a server-generated timestamp, their IP address, and their browser's user-agent string, as a record of their decision. Declining an estimate is recorded the same way, without a signature. You are responsible for determining whether this record satisfies any signature, consent, or contract-formation requirements that apply to your business and jurisdiction.

9. Intellectual Property

The TradeReady app, its name, design, and original content are the property of the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in TradeReady's intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the app as described herein.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using TradeReady at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the service. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
